Get your colour inspiration from Jolita Jewellery

This spring/summer everything is about colours. Saturated brights have been spilling from catwalks and boutiques onto the streets. Clothes, shoes, accessories have all been painted in neon and electric tones.

Inspired by the myriad of colours fashion stylist
Paula Gayle has teamed up with photographer Mary Spencer to work on a colour themed photo shoot ‘Colours’. We are very excited to see some of Jolita Jewellery pieces that made it to the shoot and wanted to share those with You.

To see all pictures from the photo shoot - please visit Jolita Jewellery's Facebook page .

Bluemarine bangle is made with vintage crystals and colourful silk. The piece incorporates various recycled components, chains, Swarovski crystals, broken, unwanted and reclaimed materials. Sparkles beautifully in the sun shine!

Mourning necklace is made by hand braiding turquoise faux silk onto a vintage crystal necklace. Adorned with three gold plated skulls at the center of the piece it makes quite a statement!

Embellished with hematite beads and colourful Swarovski crystals the pink coral Never Apart ring is a true show stopper. Skulls represent our mortality as well as transient nature of all things material. The body of the ring is made to resemble crushed spider web and has been handcrafted with finest silk by using ancient weaving and knotting techniques. A truly lavish adornment!

And last but not least – Oak necklace. Made with vintage chains, buttons, odd earrings, brooches and restored crystals it is as unique as the materials used to marry all components into one wearable piece.

Get your colour inspiration from Jolita Jewellery, by visiting our online boutique, and pick the piece that will best represent you. And if you have your own ideas – get in touch with us customercare@jolitajewellery.com and we’ll be delighted to express your individual story via unique jewel.

Name those initials!

According to past research initials might influence major decisions in peoples’ lives. For instance the place you live, the partner you choose and how well you do at school. Scientifically it’s called ‘name-letter-effect’. Regardless whether you believe in the outcome of such research or not, wearing a pendant with Your or someone else’s initial might simply be ‘your thing’. If that’s the case – then look no further than Alphabet collection.

Each pendant is individually hand made using antique seals and bronze.
All pendants are set either on a sterling silver or bronze chains. To create a worn antique look the pieces are darkened for contrast and look rough around the edges. Design is very simple yet with our own unique twist.

Alphabet pendants are perfect for adding a personal touch to your outfit. As with all Jolita Jewellery pieces the necklaces from new collection can be worn on their own or paired with other jewellery.

We create the pieces and how you wear them is up to your imagination.

So back to science…. If your initial dictates the place where you could live, Jolita Jewellery might consider moving to Jamaica! Let’s have some fun. Where should you live according to your initial?

Carevna cocktail ring: a stylish pick

After something striking and stylish? How about Carevna ring? Adorned with an oversized clear rock crystal stone and two white carved turquoise skulls it makes an unusual piece.

The ring has been noticed by Poppy Dinsey, a stylish blogger behind What I Wore today and made it on her favourites list from Boticca (an online boutique for unique jewellry and fashion accessories by top emerging designers from around the world).

According to Poppy she is a huge fan of Westerns and therefore anything to do with guns, skulls, horses or tassels.
